This case study involves a global banking sector organisation. Our consultants devised a week-long programme for delegates on their graduate training scheme. The client wanted 6 cohorts that would be run simultaneously delivering workshops on ethics, trust and influence and emotional intelligence. They required personality profiling to enable individuals to better understand themselves and their clients as a theme threaded through the programme

Our solution:

  • We provided delegates with options of modules they could attend and book in advance; this gave the event the atmosphere of an exhibition, with static self-learning areas, scheduled workshops and practice “hubs” with actors in addition to the theatre and classroom style events
  • We provided carefully chosen consultants who specialised in their area of delivery and worked with actors and mobile technology partners
  • We used mobile gaming to bring topics to life in interactive exercises involving all delegates
  • We trained managers on how to support their learners when they returned to work, in coaching skills and updated them on workshop content

The outcomes:

  • Delegates were able to choose their preferred workshop topics at the time that suited them – ensuring flexibility
  • Post-event feedback scores were consistently high across all 6 trainers. Written feedback on delegates was provided using the bank’s competencies
  • Based on feedback from the event, delegates’ managers were able to work with them to devise a action plans and monitor future progress.
